Yesterday I was minding my own business, eating falaffel on the corner of 6th and Grand when Biff Tannen jumped out of a streaking DeLorean and handed me two things before disappearing forever in the sewers: 1) a sports almanac from the future, and b) a copy of the November 2010 issue of TIME Magazine.
Here’s what TIME Magazine had to say about Jet Generation:
Jet Generation is the consumate manifesto for outsider cool in a homogenous youth culture that, for better or worse, has abandoned its own latent creativity. It’s subversive. It’s sincere. And it takes issue with non-issues and lifts them to sprezzaturic new levels of mattering. Book mark it. Make it your home page. Its influence will creep into your subconcious and open up a new, seductive world of uncompartmentalized thought. And it’s pretty funny.
- TIME Magazine “Blog of the Decade”, November 2010.
Also, the Lakers are winning the NBA title in 2009, and The Jets will fade back into obscurity sooner than you think.
The future’s already looking brighter, kids. Drink your milk. Stay in school. Maybe one day you too can live this dream.
I am a golden god,
